This extract from Juliette "news" section on the forum explains that that the new album will now be released in early 2009.

"Juliette has just finished her second album and it's now due out early in 2009. The album looks set to build on her reputation as one of the UK's up and coming operatic stars.  It includes two collaborations with the fabulous tenor, Jon Christos.  Watch this space for news of exclusive tracks and album content! I can tell you her love of film is clear in the choice of some of the repertoire. If you register your email address on the contacts page you can receive a free downloadable track. The release date has had to be postponed for all sorts of marketing and record company reasons but we thought we should give her fans a little teaser in the form of a 4 track CD to whet your appetites. You can purchase this CD at one of her many summer concerts, and it will be available on the website shortly. She has also just added an extra date to her summer concerts at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire - click on the calendar for further details.
But that's not the only thing Juliette has been recording, she has also finished recording several songs for a new CD by classical composer Brian Knowles, who has set some of the nation's favourite poems to music. Juliette is also co-producing the album, which features the vocal talents of Elin Manahan Thomas, Jon Christos, Nick Garrett and Juliette's own Brighton Festival Youth Choir!"

The EP will be a great step forward...the Album will certainly be well worth the wait Smiley Smiley

Great news!

Juliette's EP  "The Domestic Diva" will be available at future outdoor prom concerts  Smiley....see "Live Concerts " thread.

The track listing is as follows:

Shenandoah

Habanera

Take my breath away

Once upon a time in America

Four quite  beautiful songs

Shortly there will be a link available on Juliette's website to purchase the EP directly.

One of the tracks is , without doubt, the most moving piece I have ever heard

Hi Dai,
The choir i am a member of it the brighton festival youth choir, we are a group of non auditioned girls between the ages of 11 and 18. Although we are non auditioned Juliette, who is the musical director of the choir, manages to get a great sound out of the choir and we get to perform in some amazing places. We rehears once a week for  couple of hours and Juliette goes through all our music with us, offering advice and guidance on how it should be sung. We have a really fun time as Juliette is seriously funny and very kind to us all. I had never really sung classical music when i first joined the choir at the age of 11, as my audition piece i sang 'thats the way he does it' a Doris Day song! after a short while in the choir however, with the help of Juliette i found my voice in classical music, and ever since it has been all i want to do. Many people come into the choir without prior singing experience and whatever their level Juliette has a way of getting the best out of all of us and there is a really great family atmosphere. I love the choir, it is the highlight of my week.
You should come and see us perform at the brighton Dome on the 13th December this christmas if you can! Juliette always gives a stunning performance as the mezzo  Smiley
